Eddie Vedder announced that he will release a new solo album, and the first sample of the project has been released! “Long Way” was made available this Wednesday, the 8th, and is a collaboration between the Pearl Jam and producer Andrew Watt.
The vocalist's new solo album is titled Earthling and follows Ukulele Songs , from 2011. In 2020, Vedder released the EP Matter of Time and in 2021 he curated the soundtrack for Flag Day with the participation of his daughter Olivia .
In Wednesday's announcement, Eddie also revealed that fans who purchase a 7-inch vinyl copy of the single "Long Way" from Pearl Jam's official website will also receive the previously unreleased song "The Haves."
Earthling does not yet have a release date announced.
